Since the Police decided to go easy on pot smokers there has been a steady decrease in the drug rates shown very clearly in this 20 year graph.
An official information act request shows only 8 people convicted of consuming pot in 2012.
It’s pretty evident that the police are not interested in arresting innocent pot smokers – the results of this Official Information Act request from 2012 show that only 8 people were convicted of smoking cannabis.
I hereby declare cannabis decriminalised!

Download a PDF copy of the latest Legalise NZ poster! This version is the “Sell weed not SOEs” version for 2013, and is based on a poster seen during the march against the sale of state owned enterprises recently. I’ve also used a fantastic Albert Einstein quote.
“The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this.†– Albert Einstein quote on Hemp

This website was actually created primarily as a place to disseminate copies of a poster that I am working on. I want to do a large A0 size poster run in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch using this official release version 1.0
